This blog has its origins in sibling rivalry. I like to think I can do everything and my sister likes to think that I can do nothing. In between lies the truth and often the only way to settle who is correct is for me to take up her challenges. The first of these challenges was whether or not I could eat well on only $1 a day, but when after 100 days I emerged victorious, my sister insisted that it was luck and that I should have to endure other challenges to prove that it was more than a fluke of good fortune. She insisted that more challenges needed to be attempted. Thus, the creation of Experiment Blog to record all of these challenges and the results that they produce.
